Began as a sketch - a scenario written during a break at Cash's Textile firm in Coventry 1979. Developed into a poem for the Teesside Writers Workshop in 1985 and redeveloped as a song shortly after with Steve Gillgallon and Steve Ingledew. I wrote it on guitar with chords in the first postion but punked it a bit as we practiced using power chords. We did a few versions with the acoustic and the analogue synth.

Version one was done using keyboards, bass and 

analogue synth on a Fostex X15.

The second version was done in 1986 again on Fostex and remixed at Studio 64 in Middlesbrough for inclusion on a spoken word and music album I produced for one of my creative writing classes.
